Choosing wonderful fabrics of great color combinations and deliberately piecing them together into a finished top brings great satisfaction The top, whether it be a table topper, wall hanging, lap or be quilt – it is now apparent some custom quilting needs to be done to show off your great work. Custom quilting is what brings your work to life.

Just what is involved when we hear custom quilting? This can be the use of plain, variegated, or metallic thread. Sometimes it is a combination of these. Also when we talk about custom quilting, we want to think about what type of design will be sewn into the top. The design can be specific i.e., flowers, feathers, and specific design in the blocks and then there can be filler in that block also or in other blocks. If you prefer, an all over design can be stitched as well. The type of batting also enters into the finished look and serviceability. An all cotton, cotton with polyester mix, or all polyester. Custom quilting means just that – something special for something specific.

If you choose, I can either apply your binding on the top of your quilt and you can finish sewing it to the back or, I can completely apply the binding for you. This binding will be a flat start and finish without lumps, full all around with mitered corners.
